Management of acute pollution
We deliver all types of solutions for handling acute pollution from oil, fuel, etc. to water or ground. We have extensive experience and solid expertise in handling small and medium-sized installations along water and watercourses. For example in connection with transport, construction work and power production.
When handling acute pollution, great demands are placed on the right competence, as wells as the right equipment. We have precisely this competence and can, in the event of an unwanted incident, contribute everything from task management to government contact and delivery of equipment.
Emergency equipment
We supply oil booms, oil absorbers, absorbent booms, absorbents and related equipment.
Note in particular our "incident kits". These are emergency boxes that are delivered with the capacity to handle smaller spills from 30 to 750 liters. For the power industry, we have delivered a number of these kits that are used in emergency vehicles, workshops, hatcheries and inside the power station itself.

Solar Panels
Marine grade solar panels for use in the toughest environments can be provided
Signal Lights
High intensity, GPS synchronized LED signal lights with extended vertical light opening. Can be delivered with mechanical bump protection.
Battery
Waterproof high quality batteries with internal protection circuitry for different battery technologies and voltages.
Elbox
This is the main power unit on the buoy, with optimized charging algorithm from streamer, solar panels and underwater generators, battery monitoring and load control.
System voltages of 12V or 24V.
Optional radio for testing and monitoring purposes integrated.
Underwater Generator – PP UW120
The PP UW 120 is a 2-phase generator made for continuous power generation in underwater installations, typically installed on buoys used in seismic surveys.
The propeller and the generator encapsulation are made of plastic material, and propeller shaft and mounting sleeves are made of DUPLEX steel quality.
Activa Flat Top Buoys
In addition to our standard Activa range, we have developed several versions to address special needs in the industry.
Some examples our flat top buoys which maximize stability and our seaweed solution allowing rope and chain to be retrieved through the centre of the buoy.
Tether Clamps
Ovun has applied our long experience with PP-Grip to provide a unique tether clamp solution.
This solution provides a clamping solution for vertical and horizontal tethers, while also providing over bending protection.
Centralisers & Passive Seals
Ovun has a strong track record of providing J-tube centralisers and passive seals to subsea projects.
We can provide custom solutions to suit your project requirements.
XCS Distributed Buoyancy
Our patent pending distributed buoyancy solution has been developed specifically for offshore wind.
The XCS solution replaces standard internal clamps with only 2 to 3 external clamps. The buoyancy chain is connected with Dyneema tethers. This system is more cost effective and quicker to install than today’s industry standards.
Bend Stiffeners
Ovun Bend Stiffeners are designed to add stiffness at the termination points of flexible pipes, power cables, umbilicals thus limiting bending stresses and curvature to an acceptable level.
Bend stiffeners are usually attached at either the topside or subsea connection.
